Lagoon "It's what FUN is"... and now I remember why I only go once a year. 7hrs straight of this- heat, sweating, standing in lines, kids fighting, potty breaks, 10 seconds of fun on a ride, getting snacks and water constantly for 4 kids, arguing, rude people, sunshine, smiles, tears and being tired. whew.. that's a lot.
I think we took Brylee, Sawyer, Jordyn and Corbin on EVERY ride in tiny town.. no joke.. plus the new roller coaster, got soaked on Rattle Snake Rapids, and Brittney and I went on Wicked. The kids had a blast.. as long as the were on a ride... lines seemed to be the hardest on Corbin.
A Leash?
Yes it's true, he wore a 'Harness' that has a monkey tail aka Leash attached. You would not believe how many dirty looks I got from parents, but you know what? I don't even care! We were out numbered adult to kid ratio and frankly I didn't want my 2 1/2 year old lost at Lagoon. Even with the harness he was on a constant rampage everywhere we went. I know he had fun and I had fun, don't get me wrong, but when you child has no regard for getting lost and wont hold my had for longer than 20 seconds I had no choice. While we sat down to eat Bob looks at me and tells me how for 15 years he has been soo against parents using leashes for their kids... until he met Corbin HA HA HA HA.. some might think it's from my 'bad' parenting.. if you think that, you either don't have kids, had really good kids or should mind your own business ha ha.

Hey I'm all for the back packs I would rather get a couple dirty looks then have the feeling of not knowing where you kid is. Looks like you guys had lots of fun!
Ah Lagoon- brought back so many childhood memories of family reunions there!
I laughed about the kid leash- I say do what you have to do to survive!! Sounds like you have a football player on your hands!
