What do you call an adult who catches every illness known to mankind?

This is not a joke.. I know in the past people who know me have used 'hypocontriact' to describe me, but this time I can't make this up. Over the weekend I started getting a rash on my hands, then my feet. By Monday morning I was miserable and afraid to go to work and spread it to everyone. I tried WebMd, but couldn't find anything that looked like what I have, so off to the family doctor I went with Darren. I called my nurse at the baby doctor first, but she said they didn't want me going into the office if I was contagious. After the doctor looked at my hands he told me I have HFMV "hand,foot and mouth virus" yes its as simple as that. Where does this come from you may ask? Apperantly lots of children get it and spread it around schools. It USUALLY doesn't affect adults, but here I am with a rash. The best part is, there's nothing you can do to cure it. Benedryl and cortizone cream help the symptims, but won't treat it. He said it usually lasts about 5 days.
I love how NOBODY I know has this, only me. I have no idea where I got it from, but it sucks :(
34 Weeks, umcomfortable, tired and now coverd in weird red dots..but hey the nursery is looking beautiful and I can't wait to be a mom!!!

oh jules!!! Im SO SORRY! That sounds so uncomfortable on top of your already miserable state!!!! I hope it goes away really soon!!!
go find my old posts with pictures of my HUGE pregnancy cankles. that should cheer you right up! At least you dont have those hideous things!!!
Jay has had that same thing. But Jay got it from drinking out of a creek ( I know, gross!) while he was building fence in high school. Maybe you got some bad water??? I feel for you. As if pregnancy isn't hard enough. Hang in there!

I've never heard of HFMV! I'm sorry you got that and it's always worse when you're pregnant and can't take anything for it :) Hopefully you're feeling better now. Your nursery is looking so cute! I can't wait until you have your little cowboy :)

You crack me up!! I love reading your posts, the way you word them cracks me up but I am really sorry that you are sick and yes I have heard of this but never in an adult!!!!
